Me -- get bored?! It hasn't happened yet in this lifetime.
What recommendation would you have for someone who said they were? Put on a costume!

Help

Sensational, Fun, Fun, Fun!!!
I just new it! Never bored “yet in this lifetime” - I could have guess. And putting on a costume is a perfect solution to those that are undecided about what will inspire them next.
trick 'n' treat… yeah babies… you guy ROCK!!!
Oh, my! Just look at you two, grinning like jack-o-lanterns too! Gosh, it's been awhile. Last fall, Faith and I wandered into Eddy's Trick and Magic Shop on the Square in Marietta and I was entranced by the variety of adult costumes available. Yes, It is not boring to look at Y'all!
Hey Laurie, I was also wondering what happened to todays Q&R, because it is my surefire boredom buster. Although I can't truly say that I get bored. More like, I have enough of one thing and then move onto the next.
hi Laurie,
in spanish class last night we learned how to use to different verbs that mean “to be” to describe people. if I say “Rosa esta aburrida.” I am saying that Rosa is bored. if I say “Rosa es aburrida.” I am saying that Rosa is boring. In my mind, if our imaginary Rosa is bored, then she is probably also boring. I find that people who are interestED are the very interestING ones. like you…. Laurie es muy interesante. :-)

ps - my favorite part of your costumes is the smiles. :-)
ay yi yi. this computer won't let me go back and edit my typos out of the last coment, so…
I meant two different verbs, rather than to different verbs. :-)
comment. vs “coment”
haha. if I keep this up, I'll be here all day.
Mi Amiga, Dawn - Tu eres maravillosa! [Y por favor, donde estamos los banos? Andale', andale!] …
I'll just be the interesTED ;)
That's cute Ted. I have names like that for people around the office. There's Jill-E Bean, Ted-E-Bear, Jack-Mehoff, Kim-Burly and Bobby-Bitchen. In my highschool yearbook someone even snuck in a picture of a non-existent student with the name Buster Hymen.
Okay, I think I've beat that drum hard enough. ;)
Ted & Bob - I turn my head for just one moment (one tiny little moment) and just look where this conversation has gone!
Jeannie, Terrill, ~KES, Sandi, & Gil, (Dawn was busy showing me the way to the baƱo) - Fun, Inspire, Rock!, Grinning, Sure Fire Boredom Buster, and interesante are the flavorful spices I found up above that have made this dialogue so tasty!
Thank you each – including The Boys, for stopping by.
El bano esta al fondo del pasillo. No peudo hacer acentos con este teclado.
it was fun going down the path of this conversation for sure. :-)
Dawn - thank you for letting me know that the bathroom is down the hall and that you can't do accents with your keyboard.
[And please don't think for one single moment that I know Spanish. My sister is on instant messaging with me and feeding me the information. She lives in Cardiff by the Sea (near San Diego) and owns property in Panama – she HAS to know Spanish!) …
Allright Dawn, you're really pissing me off the this spanish crap because it's bringing up one of my great failures in life. I took six years of spanish, have a sister in law who speaks fluently, have worked around spanish speaking people for more than thirty years and still can't speak it worth a damn.
My double 'rrs' in spanish are about as polished as the chinese lady across the street who pronounces the letter 'L' the same way. Raerry Bob? Yes, really. Heck, it took me six years in speech therapy to learn to speak english properly.
Dos cerveza por favore?
As long as one is for me!
What? What's that you say? My brother lived in Caracas, Ven. for several years and then moved to Madrid, Spain. He speaks Spanish better than I do English and come to think of it, better English, too.
You know, Laurie – reading your blog is always an adventure; I start off with a question about boredom, see a picture of two people dressed from “I Dream of Jeannie,” there are vague references to magic and Trick or Treating which somehow turns into a Spanish lesson …
Who needs drugs?
Oh my gosh – out loud hysterical laughter! First you do it on Sandi's blog, and now you do it on mine. I love it. THANK YOU, Barbara, for spreading seeds of hilarity today! I love the 'prescription' that you give on your own blog today - sage advice, indeed!
Like they say on the Gaia log-in “Fire it up!”.
sometimes I come in here with the idea that I will just follow the thread and after a while, I think “thread? what thread?” then it dawns on me … it burned up in the fire …
ah Bob. don't be mad, I've been trying to learn spanish for about 6 or 7 years now, but this is the first year I've taken a class. my teacher thinks I'm a natural because I've picked up so much in the first months, but it's really my 8th year. :-)
after watching the movie “michael” with my husband tonight, in english, I'm now listening to it in spanish and understanding more spanish words than I ever had before. I'm actually enjoying it much more the second time around because I don't have to try to understand the plot or care if the acting is good. I can just look at the lovely visuals, hear the lovely music and see how many spanish words I understand. :-)
