What do you wish you'd paid more attention to?
Time. I have a tremendous amount of enthusiasm about my goals, but I do not have a tremendous amount of time in which to tangibly apply myself to them. When the window of opportunity presents itself, I am single-focused and apply myself to the task at hand. When the window is shut, I take advantage of the opportunity to apply myself mentally. This allows me to enjoy the journey, regardless.
There are different kinds of authority:
(1) The type that is imposed from the outside - sometimes it's legitimate, and sometimes it's not. There have been times in my own life when I buried my own knowing, experience, and ability to speak because I cared so deeply about what the outside authority might think; especially when I desired its approval.
(2) Authority which comes from within - the type that is freeing, challenging, and calls us to be all that we can be; Divine Love.
So who do I listen to? The longer I live the more often I am an expression of heart-based living that stems from my inner authority; Divine Love.
Much like extended family--grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles and children of different ages--I think humanity is represented by a similar assortment of developmental stages.
When you remove the distractions, the hustle-and-bustle, the juggling of multiple platters, the busy-ness; the attention naturally flows to what remains ... being alive.
I feel like my inner-tube has rounded a certain gentle bend in the river and that I'm flowing into the very best part of my life. The journey so far has been amazing, but the best is yet to come!
Let it go. My higher self wants me to listen when it says ... let it go.
I love to read! There's nothing better than staying in your pajamas, making a pot of London Cuppa Tea, and tucking into a good book ...
...unless, of course, you reward yourself with a piece of red licorice between chapters; that makes it even better! There is no tastier red licorice on the planet than Halva Red Finnish Sweet Licorice (strawberry).
If there's one thing I know, it's red licorice. I've tasted red licorice from all over the world (somebody had to do it) and this one takes first place, hands down!
Energy Medicine - the work I do for a living. I am so blessed in that I love what I do, and I do what I love.
