What have you been procrastinating about?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for May 27, 2009:
When I’m reading a good book, I put off going to bed until I can’t see straight. I know better. It’s not like the book is going to grow legs and go anywhere. I promise myself, “Just one more chapter.” But it’s a lie. The book and I both know it. That procrastination makes for many bleary-eyed, butt dragging mornings …

I find that reading a book can be like enjoying a good meal or a fine wine. Take your time and enjoy every idea. Get as much as you can out of it. When you get tired, put it down just like you would stop eating when you are full. Being retired I can start my day off reading where I left off, and It seems that I can really get a lot out of it when I am refreshed from a good night sleep.
