This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for July 01, 2009:
For me, freedom is a state of mind. It is inner-peace. It is me determining my attitude and spiritual well-being. It comes from within.
If the "where" part of this question is referring to a geographic location, then the place that I feel most free is among trees.

My goodness, how quietly serene, it breathes peace. I know what you are saying about the trees. Me and the trees, we merge.
green! green! hugs
Such beautiful trees and they so perfectly express the serenity of your words
Seeds for the sister tree hugger.
Laurie you give so much. This one is for you and the trees.
When the wind speaks of light
When the wind speaks of love
The angels sing of their strength
The angels sing of their peace
These wise ones of ages
These wise ones of time
Nourished from the gift above
Nourished from the gift below
These guardians of light
These guardians of love
Oh my gosh, that is simply beautiful - thank you.
R George Merrill - Poetry like that is a song rumbling through the ramparts of time. I would love to have you post it in Gaia Networking on Laurie's Feature and you all come join us for green tea in the picture posted above. I invited him to join us!
Love and Freedom intertwine in human life, forming a core duality in harmony with the concept of yin and yang.
Because Love and Freedom are connected parts of a whole, each require the other. A lack of Love harms Freedom, a lack of Freedom harms Love.
Our dual nature means that Love include both a sense of oneness with others and respect for each person as a unique, free and self-controlling individuals.
Freedom requires Love, no less than Love requires Freedom.
